About NW Baptist FCU

Since its inception in 1958 the Northwest Baptist Federal Credit Union has been serving its members in and around the Central Seattle area with exceptional financial products.


The Northwest Baptist FCU has grown its membership to over 910 with assets of more than four million dollars.  The Credit Union offices are located on the corner of 18th Avenue East and East Madison Street (1823 East Madison, Courtyard 1604).


Members can also take advantage of a full array of loans including real estate, business, and new and used car loans.

History of NW FCU

We were founded as the Mount Zion Baptist Church Federal Credit Union in 1958. The Credit Union’s name was changed to Northwest Baptist Federal Credit Union in 1990 to include additional member organizations, and subsequently the field of membership was expanded to include the Central Seattle community. The Northwest Baptist Federal Credit Union currently has assets in excess of $4M and has over 900 member/owners.
